Dehentia Maxey and Bobby Cooper wed at Cochino Lodge

Maxey and Cooper Wedding

What a wonderful and beautiful wedding. The family and the wedding director / decorator Sherri Harris, came on Friday to begin to create the perfect  look and ambiance for the ceremony for the bride and groom. Janice McKnight was also at the lodge working and making sure it was just right for her daughter.    The colors chosen for the tables were black cloths with yellow  and blue flowers.  A burlap runner  and coordinating lace and burlap flatware holder complimented the table as well. Beautiful salad and dinner plates were placed on the tables along with champagne glasses for the toasts.  The reception area was filled with guests who awaited the ceremony and dinner afterwards.
There were 2  beautiful fresh floral arrangements near the buffet area which created a beautiful entry for this.
Lets not forget the Friday fishing by John McKnight and brother Joe McKnight. The were by the pond for 3 days. The weather was not perfect but those two friends enjoyed the lakeside and watching their poles.  Cochino can be a 'destination' wedding no matter how closeby you are. Something for everyone to enjoy throughout the weekend.

The couple chose to have the wedding on the deck adjacent to the reception and the Tree House deck.  Lights were everywhere creating a soft warm glow.  Soft flowing curtains were the backdrop with the lake in the background and the Tree leaning over the deck full of  vintage fixtures.  Old wooden benches were placed for the guest with the aisle for the bride and groom to meet eachother for the ceremony.  The site was filled with guests. The music was provided by Tookie-DJ who was here recently as well.   The minister was reverend Henry Lovelady who has been here times before. He always has a well thought out ceremony and puts the young couple at ease.  When the wedding ceremony ended the BridesMaids and Groomsmen danced their way down the aisle to the reception area. What a large group of special-handsome and beautiful- people who were in the wedding.
There was an abundance of food , delicious food, for the guests to enjoy. What a great way to celebrate. Then the dancing and visiting began. I renewed so many friendships and met many others. It was a wedding that launched the marriage of Mr. and Mrs. Cooper.  The two families John and Janice McKnight and the Cooper Family --united with great role models on each side to guide the NEW couple and their children in their life together.....
Happily Ever After.
