Padilla and Castro United in Matrimony

Mr. and Mrs. Castro  and Family

The bride and her family and friends decorated the lodge beautifully. The colors of Ivory and burgundy/wine were throughout the lodge. The tables had tall  Eiffel tower vases with roses and greenery, lots of brass candle holders with glowing candles and greenery also adorned the tables.  Other items on the tables were lanterns.  The  Father and mother of the bride came also to help and get things in order.  Other family members and friends began to gather later on Friday for rehearsal and  dinner . The festivities had officially begun .

On  Saturday the day began early with the bride and bridesmaids getting ready for the ceremony. This was a time of glamour and visiting and being single for just a few hours until the wedding. The wedding was held on the West Deck of the Lodge. A large wreath of vines and flowers was at the  center of the wedding ceremony as the backdrop.   Since the decorating was on Friday,  Saturday was a day of semi leisure  of getting ready and looking forward to the afternoon wedding.  The cake was beautiful with flowers cascading around the cake.
The reception dinner was catered by Dos Patroness of Lufkin. Delicious food was prepared by
talented chefs and assistants. They have been to Cochino before and the food was abundant and so tasty.

The entertainment and music was fantastic.  FANTASTIC... A mariachi band from Palestine with a dozen musicians provided the  music. I was mesmerized !!! Great sounds from talented musicians. So enjoyable. DJ Alan Vazquez then followed the mariachi band with music for dancing.  A lot of dancing and visiting went on during the nights festivities. Everyone was having a great time.  OH, the sounds of this wedding are unforgettable.
The guests were so delightful. Some traveled from Cancun to see their grandson married. There were so many guests from both sides of the families that were so interesting , helpful, and kind.  It was as we had all known each other in another time and place. So familiar a group of people.  Many from Lufkin and surrounding areas also attended.

A wonderful group of people who were all considerate and helpful. Little Baby Castro stole the show. She was as beautiful as the bride while looking so much like her dad.  She had a great personality, smiled and responded to those talking to her.

The new family of Ryan and Aimee will live happily ever after. They have so many wonderful family members that are such good role models to follow. They cannot go wrong in the midst of good, hardworking, honesty and caring of the extended families.  This is such an inspiration.
Long will live this memory of the Padilla and Castro Marriage.

Everything was in great order as the last car pulled out.
