Mr. and Mrs. Cutler Ruby

Cutler Ruby and Alexis McCrary
Married at Cochino Lodge

It rained and the next day the sun was shining down on the Bride and Groom.
What weather, it was also cold on Friday and just right on Saturday.
Many guests came from around the state as well as from as far away as Connecticut and Florida.  This was a great celebration for families to get to know each other.  There were at least 4 generations represented.
The Parlor was the location for sweets to treat the guests. Many flavors of Popcorn were served in huge glass containers reminiscent of an old country store, where the guests scooped different flavors into little sacks to take home or nibble from during the afternoon into the night. A pegboard display, of a variety of donut flavors,  was a delicious hit for the guests.  The bride chose simplicity and elegance. The tables were adorned with a greenery arranged in a circle
with a lantern in the middle. The cake table with the many tiered cake was beautiful and delicious as well.

Then came the wedding in the midst of an ancient forest overlooking the forest floor and tall pine trees.  A place that has a history of many animals and sounds and flora that exists today. It was a play ground for a generation or two before us and called the Hollow.  A lot of petrified wood was found here and many animals nested here and along the creek.  So Many guests attended. In attendance also, were the chosen pets of some of the guests. How adorable. Some so tiny and one really a good sized one.  So well behaved and adorable.   The Bride was escorted into the forest by her two brothers. The guests stood as they entered with the grandfather of the bride presenting the ceremony.  The grandfather presented a ceremony that was to the point, sweet and simple. He did not waste words.

Then came the dining and visiting. The meal was catered by Morales. Delicious Fajitas and all the trimmings were enjoyed .  Chantilly Bliss(Sherry Gauthier) was the Buffet Coordinator who had her crew of Lori Torbert, Carly Torbert and Gage Torbert  taking care of the food and serving.  Great service always. All of the anxiety of bringing it together at the last minute , having it hot, beverages ready and service available is what the Buffet Coordinator is all about.

After the cake was cut, the crowd moved to the dance floor  to have a great and festive time. Dalton Gauthier was the Wedding MC and DJ.  Dalton makes sure everyone is ready and lined up and ready for the ceremony to begin.  He makes sure no event is left out and that the photographer is ready to photograph it.  Dalton had the music wafting through the forest for the ceremony and then back on the deck for the Dancing, Visiting and Fun. He takes the concern out of what to do next.

The new couple are ready to make a life together. They have as mentors the two families to help if any guidance is needed. Such a happy and fun group of people who came together to get the new couple off to a great start.
May they live a long and happy life, have lots of children and don't forget where you came from because this made you who you are......a gracious, sensitive and mindful  couple.
