Jessie and Patrick

McWhorter and Gergen

Jessie and Patrick became Mr. and Mrs. Gergen at Cochino Lodge. The weather was like fall, not too hot and not too cold and there was no rain. The reception area was decorated by family and friends.  Lanterns , rustic log slices,  greenery, candles and many signs of endearment were placed throughout the Lodge. The family pet was there is all its grandeur and splendor. What a magnificent 'family member'.  Got a lot of attention and was part of the wedding ceremony. So well behaved.   Wedding favors were for the guests pets to take home and give them a treat.  Lawn games were placed about for the guests to enjoy when they wished.  This was a great gathering of family and friends who all contributed to this being a wedding to remember. The food was so abundant and delicious.  Family-Guests contributed food to the buffet for the reception. What delicious Briquet, the smoke taste was glorious- a friend of the grandfather provided this.

His name is Travis Smith, 936-676-8376 and he caters. Give him a call. The broccoli/cheese casserole was also so tasty that everyone wanted the receipt. There was non of this left . There was BBQ sausage that great helpings of this was enjoyed as well as Bean and rolls.   The Groom's up-side-down pineapple cake was not only beautiful to look at, it was delicious too. The Bride's cake was delicious and so unusual. Everyone loved it.  On the groom's table was a family heirloom piece of décor with flowers placed on old tree branch. It was decorated with succulents that the Bride's mom had made. The groom's table had tiny succulent in tiny containers also on the table.  The Bride and Groom's head table had 2 containers of miniature succulents with tiny signs that said "Mr. " on one and "Mrs" on the other.
All of the guests were so friendly and enjoyed the celebration. Everyone was so helpful.  A lot of visiting went on. Some guests traveled great distances such as Tennessee. A drive of 'love' to witness the marriage of two great friends.
Chantilly Bliss and Crew prepared the Buffet to receive all of the food brought by the guests.  The Steam table was hot and ready to go when the food got there. Tea and lemonade was made and put in the dispensers with the ice machine dispenser filled for them as well.  The food was served by Lori, Carly and Gage Torbert, the Chantilly Bliss crew.  The cake was cut by Lori and the guests then helped themselves.  Food left over was packed/refrigerated  and ready for them to take home when they left.  Chantilly Bliss and Crew takes care of the worry and work of getting the buffet in order and ready on time.

What a nice couple and family formally brought together as one.   Happily Ever After  was begun today with this beautiful couple, their children and pets.
