Hannah Harris and Wade Murphy
became
Mr. and Mrs. Murphy
at Cochino Lodge
Rain is good luck on your wedding day. The rains came down all week long. On the wedding day, it held off wonderfully well until after the ceremony. The temperature was great. Many guests bravely made the journey to Cochino to witness the marriage of Hannah and Wade.
The wedding was Elegantly simple as Hannah had desired. Brown and Ivory were the chosen colors making for a warm woodsy but elegant setting for the celebration. Floral arrangements in wooden boxes, custom made for the occasion, adorned the tables with greenery and flowers. Vases adorned several tables making for a slight different height and look to pull it altogether. Mother of the bride had a delicious pies for the Pie Bar. Such a talented 'chef'. This lady can cook anything. The Bride's cake was beautiful and delicious as well. After enjoying the reception dinner and visiting, speeches were made followed by dancing and lots of fun. Dalton Gauthier was the wedding music and sound. He kept it moving along in the right direction. He covered all the wedding events and none were left out . Great to have Dalton at the helm.
The guests were delightful and so personable. Many had been to Cochino before and I enjoyed seeing them again. It had been some years since I had seen some and we recalled whose wedding it had been. Meeting the children of parents ---those I had known years before --- was interesting as well. Dr. Crowley and his wife were among those whose parents I was familiar with years before. We had many acquaintances in common.
The minister was pastor Youngblood who had known the groom all of his life. Pastor Youngblood presented a ceremony, recalling knowing the young couple as they grew up.
Dawn Gauthier did the décor.
