Drew and Kade
It happened at Cochino Lodge. ….It was mesmerizing it was Magic, it was mirror-mirror on the wall , once upon a time....it was he marriage of Drew and Kade. The weather was wonderful the whole weekend. The wedding was a 3 day event from start to finish. The Sisterhood of Sherry, Terri, Tammy and April and Janis worked non stop creating the magical, mystical, old world ambiance that lingers still. April had zillions of great ideas that she put into motion and that I will copy (yes, I steal ideas that are the best) A wedding at dusk on the Tree House Deck of Cochino was under the oak tree that shades the deck during sunny days and wraps around the guests as night falls. Moss hung on the tree creating the feel of deep woods and nature and old South mystery. The lake's waters glistened in the distance as lights twinkled on the deck. The wedding was about to begin.
As guests began to arrive, the aroma of delicious food was wafting through the air. Family prepared the delicious meal. Many commented that they did not know if they could wait until dinner. Such talent in this family, the food was partially prepared by Tammy (part of the sisterhood) on the day of the wedding. She worked non stop for hours. She made salsa that was so hot it would burn your house down, ghost peppers were abundant in the mix. The meats and vegetables were also done by family and was delicious. The décor was by the sisterhood as well, what an eye for the unique and of another time somewhere in time. I loved it all. The mother of April made the Bride's cake and decorated it on site. She is so very talented. Beautiful work. And delicious. he Groom's Cake was beautiful as well and very tasty brought by Paula Kartye
So many guests. A homecoming for some. Brittany Rose Williams- and husband AND 2 beautiful children ,were here after having married at Cochino previously. Also grandmothers of the groom were here as well . Paula Kartye-mother of Janice_and_Saundra Owens Mother of Dom. Great to see them all again. I laughed a lot with both of them They are both so humorous.
Sounds of the night were by Jerry Wells. He has loved music for a lifetime and knows what the crowd wants.
The Pastor did a great presentation of the marriage and the couples vows to each other were beautiful.
Chantilly Bliss did a wonderful Buffet set up and coordination. The area was decorated beautifully by Sherry Gauthier and her crew, the Gauthier Family. The Family had the food ready for the Buffet and it was served hot and on time. Chantilly Bliss is a 'must' for any wedding, this keeps the family stress and worry free and it is all out and ready on time. Tea and ice included.
