Mr. and Mrs. Williams and Family

Candace and Tony

Precious Memories , how they will linger for a lifetime.

This wedding was about families coming together and creating a huge extended family.  It was not only the marriage of Candace and Tony but also with  their 5 children.  And on both sides of the family a union that will  act as mentors, inspiration, friends, and there for the new family in happiness, celebrations as well as in sorrow.

The wedding began on Friday with decoration and rehearsal. Candace set the mood with her desire for a colorful wedding full of  whimsey, fun and delicious.  The focal décor was edible. Large swirled lollypops of  all colors and colorful candies sprinkled abundantly on the table. The vases were filled with colorful water beads and floral lights.  It was a delightful sight for children as well as adults.  The bridesmaids and groomsmen along with Candace guiding them, began on Friday and the groomsmen completed it on Saturday as well as setting out the chairs and arches.  What a helpful group of men !!!! They took over and arranged the buffet area as well.

The buffet was HUGE.  Crock Pot Annies of Nacogdoches, had food for the soul.  Fried Chicken,, chicken spaghetti, BBQ brisket, BBQ chicken, BBQ sausage,  macaroni and cheese, green beans,  baked beans and peach cobbler. (I know I am leaving something out for sure)  Annie Christopher and her daughter had a feast for the guests. She is located at 1008 East Main Street in Nacogdoches, Texas.  Great Caterers for a wedding or any event.

The Cake was beautiful, colorful, and delicious.  It was made by Bobbie Gray of Palestine. She does an excellent job and delivered and set the cake up.  Her wedding cakes are outstanding and she does many themes and  designs.  Easy to work with and on time.

The pastor for the wedding ceremony was Rev. Clifton Mergerson of Inspirational Temple in Garrison Texas.  He had a wonderful marriage presentation ceremony and a great speaker. He moved the ceremony on and pronounced them 'man and wife'.  He was on time and very thorough with his ceremony of marriage.

GREAT music. Marlon McCullough of Crockett was the DJ.  He has been to Cochino on numerous occasions and always has the right sound and right on target. Lot of dancing and fun went on. At times you might thing you were on 'dancing with the stars'. Brother of the Groom and his partner were great on the dance floor. Mesmerizing. Didn't miss a step.  They must have been practicing for years.  Great Duo.

Kicko  Mendez, married to Kayla at Cochino earlier, gave a moving speech and toast to the new couple. Always glad to see those who have been here before. Such a cute couple and fun too.

It was great to see Ashlee Nicole, who dances for the Astros, she is a local young woman that we are proud of .  An inspiration to others for sure.
Chris Mendez and Aly Marie , is was good to see Chris again and to meet Aly Marie. Hope to see them at Cochino soon …… !!!!!!

Last but not least were the families of the bride and groom. The Browns, Mendez,  and  McGraws.   What a pleasure to have them as well as all of the other guests.  An easy going group, helpful, uplifting and in such a good mood. It was so refreshing and such a pleasure to have them. Everything was Perfect from beginning until end.  The grounds and lodge looked as if no one had been there at all. Spotless.  This says volumes about the upbringing of this group as well as their ancestors instilling values to all those who followed. They are blessed and so is everyone they encounter.
Thank you for having your wedding at Cochino.
