A beautiful and elegant wedding at Cochino Lodge, made possible by
Denise, mother of the Bride. Denise visited Cochino many times and worked out her ideas for a wedding especially for the bride and groom. The chosen colors were Plum, silver and white. Pedestal vases held flowers of these color as well as jewels sprinkled on the table tops along with candles.. On the day of the wedding the family and friends assisted Denise in orchestrating the wedding envisioned. The Bride who has " Reflections Kristina Thacker" (see her Facebook ) is a makeup artist who did her own makeup for the wedding as well as the bridesmaids and family. She is EXCELLENT. Very creative and has a good vision and great suggestions. She has been at Cochino frequently and always does a great job. She is just a hop-and-skip from Cochino and travels here. Check it out. !!!!
The wedding ceremony was held on the East Lawn. A spiral seating, with white garden chairs, was designed. This was a first at Cochino and was such a great opportunity for photographs. The officiant and bride and groom were in the center of the spiral. Friends and Family surrounded them, so symbolic of what life is about. Dalton Gauthier was the officiant who performed the ceremony with the Bride and Groom stealing the show with their heartfelt vows to each other. Dalton stated that their vows would 'steal the thunder of the Ceremony of any officiant" These recalled the past and the future with lots of happy tears of both the bride and groom.

There was much celebration after the ceremony. A delicious meal of Red Snapper, Chicken and rice with very special sauces was enjoyed by the group. This was provided by Lia's Kitchen, Downtown Lufkin .A beautiful cake made Professionally by family- Dawndrea Huffman, of Hallsville, Texas was gorgeous. It was the perfect size. It was so well decorated and elegant as well. Dawndrea and her husband Richard, were so personable and friendly as well. Cupcakes by Gourmet Cupcake Confections , Downtown Lufkin were also served on a silver pedestal and tray. Light plum in color and delicious.
After the late afternoon dinner, the crowd gathered on the dance deck and danced the night away, but not before speeches and toasts were made. Getting to know the thoughts of the bride and groom was revealed by an adorable game between the bride and groom with Dalton Gauthier, head of the questions. Then the dancing began. The Price Parents of the Bride stole the dance floor activity and glided around effortlessly. Beautiful , graceful and in total harmony. Just like life should be. The Densman Parents of the bride were a pleasure to meet. Very interesting parents and great personalities and fun. I felt as if I had known them forever. Dalton Gauthier was the DJ who kept it all moving and on point. Nothing was left undone. He keeps it fun and has the right sounds and provides any request.
