Shannon and Lok were married at St. Francis and then Voyaged to Cochino Lodge for the Wedding Reception. The huge family and wedding party all worked together to decorate, prepare food, celebrate and enjoy the company of their friends and family on this glorious occasion. The wedding began on Friday with the families spending the night and beginning arrangements, then preparations began again on Saturday morning and later on with traveling to St. Francis for the Ceremony. It was then back to Cochino for a grande celebration, spending the night Saturday night and then leaving on Sunday. Such a laid back group of people who enjoyed this celebration from morning till into the night. Oh.....I cannot forget one important member of the family and this was Shannon's and Lok's other member of the family....Dinozzo, wonderful dog who followed them almost everywhere.
Family came from many directions. From Texas to Hong Kong to Jamaica and back, this wedding was witnessed. Everyone was so friendly that it felt like all were related. Even to new acquaintances.
The Décor was of the Bride's invention and desires made visible. Fresh Flowers were everywhere. Mason Jars held beverages, burlap was for the fork,spoon and knife and flower seeds were to take with you for future beauty and to remember 'the day'. Each table had vintage plates of many designs. This in itself was entertaining and you could hear "I remember when" when guests viewed their seating arrangements. Old photographs of parents, grandparents, and maybe even great grandparents were displayed for the guests to see. You could see the resemblance of the groom to his father as well as the bride to her mother.
What a beautiful Bride and Handsome Groom who are a perfect match for each other
