Kaitlin and Corey along with their very close friends created a unique
wedding ambiance that expressed their desires.
The décor was about simplicity. Floating candles in aqua water in shallow vessels were atop tables. The unity sand ceremony was centered around 3 large barrels on the North Deck. The ceremony took place here as well with draped and flowing material from the center of the roof line. Flat benches were angled toward the ceremony site so that guests would have the ultimate view of the couple's marriage as well as the surrounding trees and water and sky. Potted flowers were placed alongside the benches. The indoor wedding was beautiful and very comfortable. The bridal cake was made by the Groom. It was the Tres Leches wedding cake. A very savory cake made of three full flavored milks. It was artfully done and enjoyed by the guests. This is the first wedding cake at Cochino that the Groom has made. A First !!!!!
The guests enjoyed refreshments after the wedding on the Mid Deck of the Lodge. Music and Dancing followed as well as Photographs and visiting. The guests had sparklers that lit the way of the new couple as they left the lodge on a motorcycle. I foresee that this very unique couple will have a very adventuresome and fun filled life together. One that is perfect for the two of them and that they will be very happy.
