Nacogdoches came to Cochino Lodge with the wedding of Kelcie and Austin...the new Mr. and Mrs. McDonald

Kelcie and Austin
Married at Cochino Lodge
November 24, 2012
The sun was beginning to set at the mid-afternoon wedding of Kelcie and Austin.   The fall foliage was at its colorful peak and everyone enjoyed the changing of seasons. The weather was sunny with no rain and slightly cool as the evening began to turn into nightfall.  A great group gathered to witness this lovely ceremony of two lovely families coming together to make their own. Pastor Joe Dowling  of the Rio Brazos Country Church in Snook, Texas performed a very relaxed  ceremony stressing the importance of the new couple putting each other first.
The Bride and Groom had beautiful cakes made by the Bride's Grandmother from Nacogdoches, Stella,  and decorated by the Aunt of the Bride.
The Reception food was presented by Procella Creek ChuckWagon Catering. This was an event in itself.  A full ChuckWagon was on site at Cochino Lodge. Donnie Mathews of Lufkin, Texas brought his cooking talents and produced a great feast.  The highlight was peach cobbler made in Dutch Ovens heaped with hot coals. A delicious meal of Bar-B-Q and all the trimmings  was 'down right delicious'.
The festivities of the night ended with dancing, talking and making great memories.  Music was provided by Samantha Cunningham. Great Sound and a very pretty lady.
Please enjoy the photographs of a memorable wedding of a beautiful bride and a handsome groom who have begun the first day of the rest of their lives together ..beginning here at Cochino Lodge in the heart of the Davy Crockett National Forest and of course TEXAS.
