Jordan and Tyler
Married at Cochino Lodge
October 27, 2011
Fall has been in the air, but it truly arrived October 27, 2011. The day was crisp, the sun was dazzeling, the lake had 'waves' and all else was wonderful for the Nutt and Jordan Wedding.
It began on Friday, the rehersal and decor day. Family came and began to create the Bride's vision of her special day and the wedding setting. Fall colors were browns and gold among others. Burlap runners atop brown and beige table cloths adorned the tables. Log slices with mason jars, corn, raffia, and old soda bottles decorated the tables. The soda bottles were from the groom's collection that he began when he was 10 years old. Very interesting. Friends brought larger soda bottles that were also used as table decor. Such a nice touch that the Groom had a part in the table decor melded with the Bride's chosen items. Weddings are all about everyone having a part of it all.
The cakes were done by Grand Dough Baking Company of Lufkin who delivered and set it all up and finished the final touches on site. They were delicious as usual as well as so unique. It had the leather look and was so detailed. Perfect.
The DJ was Shawn Kaemmerling of ProDJ. He had the sound that is second to none. Always a pleasure to have Shawn at Cochino Lodge.
Ahhhhhh the food was delicious. Tamara Nerran of Tater Shack catered it all. The 'taters' were as big as Dallas and all of Georgia. Tamera had all the trimmings of bar-b-q, chili, cheese, and condiments of all sorts.
The Flowers were by artist Rodrick of Austin Texas (formerly Roderick of Lufkin) who made the journey to Cochino Lodge. They were beyond words to describe.
Photographer Dena Dent Straban and her Partner took photographs from beginning until end. They also did the bridal portraits. Great Photographers.
Please enjoy the house photography of Cochino Lodge
The doors were perfect for Jordan's Photographs.
Bottles from Tyler's collection wheich began when he was
about 10 years old. Great Idea.
