Welcome to the Wedding of Brittney and Logan

Cochino Lodge
September 15, 2012
The Burchfield and Vann families met to celebrate the Wedding of Logan and Brittney.
The weather was WONDERFUL. This must have been the first glimpse of fall.
Guests from Diboll, Lufkin, Nacogdoches ,Crockett  as well as area wide made the journey to Cochino Lodge.  There were four sets of grandparents present to celebrate.  This was an honor.
The decor was vintage and elegant with a country flair.  Boots for the bride and bride's maids were the order of the day.  The Music was provided by Vashti Group from Conroe.   www.chrisbrademusic.com .  This group played current music as well as the music of the grandparents time  and then beyond that. Versatile and so accommodation making for a full dance floor , this group 'talked' to the guests.  Photographs were by The Silhouette Studio, Lufkin, Texas.  Sarah Williams worked from mid day till 'quittin' time'.  Sara  captured  all the action. www.thesilhouettestudio.com .     The cakes were delicious and beautifully made by Grande Dough Baking Company of Lufkin.  The ceremony was held on the deck with benches and floral arrangements of Sunflowers, log slices, huge boots, and burlap.  The ceremony was designed by the bride and groom with each stating their vows of their own making to each other. This was a very touching ceremony and so meaningful. There were tears of happiness shed  by both bride and groom and the guests.  The ring ceremony began with the groomsmen not being able to find the ring, but just at the right moment, one groomsman found one in a box of cracker jack's that exactly fit the bride.  The minister stated that he had  better 'examine the ring' to make sure that it was real before he began this part of the ceremony. The final wedding prayer asked for ' guidance for the new couple as well as them being able to meet any unforeseen trials with strength. The prayer reminded God that the Bride had been taught to fish so the new family should be OK with nourishment at least and God could carrier them the rest of the way.
This was more than a wedding. It was the gathering together a spirit of going forward in making a wonderful life for this new family unit of three....and all the rest of  the children to follow.
The Bride was truly beautiful outwardly as well as  in spirit and soul. Her vows to her Groom were touching and truthful.   The Groom, very handsome, and protective of his new bride and their son. His kindness and sincerity could also be seen in his presentation of his vows to Brittney.
They will live happily ever after.
