Zoraida and Carlos
Wed at Cochino Lodge
September 22, 2012
Guests came from McAllen and beyond the United States , from Western Texas as far as you could go and into Eastern Texas and then North again. This was a large family gathering. A wonderful personable group who were very family oriented. Ages ranged from newborn to Great Grandmothers. The weather was wonderful. Fall is in the air. A lawn wedding with vintage church benches and wooden arch was the setting for the couple's ceremony. The ceremony was in Spanish as well as English. The music was provided by a fantastic group - Aristeo (dj Aris) Rodriguez , Tyuler, Texas who can be reached at 903-594-8200 . His music was varied and set the mood for a lot of dancing and fun. Jessica Jansky Photography -Crockett- began early and stayed till the end. Jessica captured all the right moments.(936-546-3166) Richard Hall, Tyler Texas, did the video of the ceremony, dancing, reception as well as personal interviews with the couple after they were married. He can be reached at 903-360-9471. The beautiful decor was by Maria Martinez, of Lufkin, who created the feel that the Bride had invisioned. Torquoise and Brown melded with the white backdrop was just perfect. Table arrangements were placed, Bridal registry set up and the whold mid deck and lobby 'popped' with excitement. Maria is fast and efficient and knows exactly what to do. She has done this for years and is very knowlegable. She can be reached at ___________(give me the number) The Fruit bar was a work of art. So colorful, well arranged, unique and delicious on top of it all does not adequately describe this portion of the buffet. This was the work of _______________ (let me know as well as telephone numbers) The Bride and Groom's cakes were made by _____---(let me know) and there were a lot of them. The groom's cake had his love of hunting highlighted with the Deer and the Wild Hog as toppers. The dinner was plentiful and delicious. I met a lot of people and enjoyed myself. It was a pleasure for me to have this wedding at Cochino.
