Mr. and Mrs. Bruton wed at Cochino Lodge

Arica and Caden
Mr. and Mrs. Bruton

A Beautiful whimsical and romantic September Wedding. The Bridal Party arrived on Friday and began to transform the Reception area. Jessica Womack was at the helm of putting into motion what the Bride and Groom desired.  Jessica's special of the wedding was two beautiful arrangements with large lanterns in the center and placed on barrels at the wedding walk entry to the arch.  The Groomsmen prepared the seating and the moving of arches and benches. Burgundy Cloths, log slices, greenery , lanterns and quaint  vases adorned the tables. Many personalized signs were placed throughout the lodge with meaningful messages. The grooms table had antlers, old jugs and crates.  The brides cake was beautiful and delicious.  The lodge was transformed into an elegant old world feel. The Wedding was held on the East lawn before large wooden doors situated between two trees. The backdrop was the lake, forest and hill  that surrounded the site. The bridal party moved from the lodge toward the ceremony site passing through a quaint walkway---by a rock waterfall-- palm trees, old style buildings and  a prayer house.
A beautiful Photograph of the bride and groom was placed near the bride and groom's head table. On Friday a  rehearsal dinner was held in the Parlor. Delicious sweets prepared by grandmother of the Bride, Louise Hendry, were enjoyed on rehearsal night as well as the wedding day. The Grooms table was filled with her delights....especially the Berry Cobbler, berries picked by Louise.  You cannot get any better than this, unless you tried her Pecan Pie and then it was a toss-up....as well as the other sweets of hers.
The East Lawn of Cochino had games for the guests  to enjoy both days.
Dancing and visiting followed the delicious meal, catered by the minister and officiant for the new couple.  He is  a man of many talents. Really great BBQ, coldslaw, beans and rolls. He had it all together and ready for the guests to enjoy helped by his wife.
