What a beautiful wedding. A family production of décor and food and fun.  A large gathering from the surrounding communities came together to celebrate the marriage of Terence and Ralana.  Alto was well represented as well as Tadmor and Kennard and Ratcliff.   The décor was delicate and made by the sister of Ralana. Tall Glass tiered centerpieces with flowers enclosed  adorned each table.  Fuchsia table runners atop white table cloths finished the elegance.  Simple and stunning.  The food was prepared and served by the Groom and his Alto relatives along with Becky Washington.

  Huge baked potatoes topped with all the trimmings.  Delicious and thoroughly enjoyed by every one.  After the cutting of the cake, speeches, first dances......the party began.  David Washington provided the music for the celebration and it was his usual spectacular.   David and Becky Washington are not new to Cochino, they had a beautiful wedding at Cochino as well. Always great to see this couple.  The guests were delightful.  Dancing and visiting was  non stop. Grandmother of the Bride Adline Lamb , age 98, almost stole the show.  She was just delightful and participated in it all. A beautiful lady from Tadmor who was very glamorous.  I asked what she did to stay young and she replied that she stayed busy. That day she had gathered string beans from her garden, snapped them and cooked them and ate them.  What a testimony.  Still loving the earth and all that it offers.  Mrs. Lamb had so many generations at Cochino.  We all recalled those of times past and their life and times in the area. If we forgot a name Grandmother  Adeline Lamb would fill in the gaps. What a great family and friends. I enjoyed it so much.
