Julie and Roan

Julie and Roan

Became Mr. and Mrs. Roan At Cochino Lodge

Such warm memories were made on a crisp December afternoon.  The family of Roan and Julie became one with many friends and family witnessing the wonderful union.  There was a crowd who crossed full streams, winding roads through tall pine trees,  unpredictable weather but when the end of the road began a memorable view came into sight.  The wedding site ambiance was planned by Julie with the interests of the family dictating the feel.  This family is all about nature, horses, cattle, roping, breaking horses,   Rodeos, and being a part of it all.  What a wholesome way of life.  Totally Texas and beyond.  Some of the guests came as far as New Mexico and others Texas.  What a delightful and interesting group. I felt like 'lonesome dove' had arrived at Cochino.

The food was delicious. Kevin Simms  was at the head of making this happen. There was plenty for late night  eating as well as taking home food. Music was provided by Steve  Murray. He is well known and has a remarkable musical career.  It was an honor to have him performing at   Cochino. Dalton Gauthier was sound and music and event organization. Always an easy route to take in getting it all done in order and timely.  He doesn't miss a thing.  The photographer was Bryan Anderson who is well known in the Houston Texas area and beyond for his unusual and beautiful wedding photography as well as destination photographer.  Such a pleasure to meet him as well.

There was dining , dancing, visiting, sparklers and so much laughing.  This group of guests loved tcompany of each other and had so much fun. Such a fun  group. Everyone was helpful and were so interesting. A lot of my family I hadn't seen in years were present. It took only a second to be right back to where we had  left off years ago...   and figure out the kinship we had.  I enjoyed this so much myself.  The most memorable was the dancing of June Prager and her partner. They glided around the dance floor, light as a feather, never missing a step, right on point and beautiful.  They were recognized by everyone as the best dancers around. I loved it.  They have my vote.
