A November wedding that had Perfect Weather!!!!

What a great gathering to witness the marriage of the Custer and Torbert families. Such a huge family. The guests were so delightful. Many of them related to those who live here at Cochino . It was like another reunion where former brides and grooms were back again celebrating with family once again on these old grounds of Cochino. It was a 3 day wedding with so much activity, decorating and making sure that the venue was a reflection of the new bride and groom. The Lake was full and inviting to fishermen. The skies were beautiful, trees turning golden, rose gold and deep red-plum. The green pine trees seemed greener and taller than ever and stood as a backdrop across the lake. We were all celebrating in the Oldest County in Texas. Such a great historic location.

The Décor was simply elegant. Chantilly Bliss helped in getting the décor just perfect. The Groom's Table and the Head Tables were areas that Chantilly Bliss concentrated on. The beautiful Arch décor, fireplace set up, and Cake Tables were also fashioned by Chantilly Bliss. The Buffet coordination was also done by Chantilly Bliss which helped to simplify the process for the families. Last minute food presentation was left up to the coordinator and it all goes well and on time. No need for family to be concerned with this aspect of the wedding. Craig Morton (along with his wife) was head chef who prepared the delicious BBQ and Chantilly Bliss made sure it was in place and hot for the guests to enjoy. AND it was delicious food, Mr. and Mrs. Craig Morton. !!!

The pastor was non other than John Hancock. He provided a great wedding ceremony. He was a long time family friend and relative of the new couple, and he was so delightful. A formidable man for sure.

The sound and music was by Dalton Gauthier. It went wonderfully well as usual. A great asset and a smooth transition from one event to another, making sure all is covered for the Bride and Groom. Dancing and visiting throughout the night. What a memory for us all.
