Bennett and Tarbutton
Married at Cochino Lodge
Christine and Luke and now Mr. and Mrs. Tarbutton along with two beautiful heavenly flowers--Leilani and Elle that will keep the couple young for years to come. Such a wonderful family with many memories yet to be made.
The Wedding embodied the young couples interest and was a gathering of family and friends who were a close working group of people. The decor was orchestrated by Christine and her family and bridesmaids who helped to get it done in record time. The bride chose
simply elegant wedding decor. Each table echoed the other yet was different and so interesting. Vintage cups, tea pots, lanterns, sunflowers, old books and quotes that expressed the feelings of the couple .... of those in love ...were placed with the table decor for guests to read and enjoy. The cake was beautiful and delicious as well. The Reception dinner was prepared by Getting' Piggy With It.... Joe Burton who cooked from early arrival until reception time. Enough for a huge crowd and food left over. It was a feast. The groomsmens chosen look for the wedding reflected their occupation
interest and dedication. A great group of men who dedicate their services to the community and its well being. We are all grateful and thank them for this. An impressive group.
The wedding ceremony was held in the forest. Reverend Eddie Brown performed the ceremony. The huge pine trees towered over the crowd and new couple and shaded them from the sun. Old forests are beautiful. There is something sacred about the wonder of the forest and its beauty. A forest is beautiful with no effort. It just is. The sights and sounds are enchanting. A perfect place for Christine and Luke to say their vows and begin a new life together and with their children.
Each wedding has its own personality. I enjoyed the friendliness, helpfulness, good humored guests and family that came to help celebrate the marriage of Christine and Luke. It was a pleasure to meet everyone and I hope to see them again.
