Parker and Spies
Wed at Cochino Lodge


The Bride and Groom were ready for the weather. The wedding was held on the Deck  with the Lake as a view on one side and the forest on the other. Many guests gathered to wish the couple a happy life together. There was good food, dancing, visiting with everyone enjoying the beautiful decor that was lovingly arranged up for almost 2 days.  The Mid Deck was glowing with the Brides chosen decor and carefully orchestrated by family and friends. Jenny was a great lady who stayed in motion for the duration. Some of the decor was hand crafted by Jenny and was just stunning. I loved her custom made gigantic  "S" that greeted each one as they entered the Reception area.  Catha Scott, who has been to Cochino on many occasions, made the most beautiful Bride's Cake and the Groom's Cake. Very Delicious and hand delivered by Catha. Mrs. Enos had the buffet area lined with delicious food and worked throughout ensuring that everyone had a fine feast.  Her Husband, Walter, was a great help as well keeping everything going quickly in the right direction.  The Bride's Grandparents, the Goodmans, had prepared jam from pears that were gathered on the grounds of Cochino Lodge. What a novel idea for wedding favors.  What a lovely wedding and so many interesting guests and genuinely great families.
