A Sunday Afternoon At Cochino Lodge
It was a Wedding Wonderland. The Décor, the Food, The Music was beyond comparison.
Connie Wells-Absolutely Fabulous Wedding- put her magical touch on table décor as well as the overall ambiance. Connie Wells has an imagination that works toward making the perfect wedding that is pleasing to the Bride and Groom. The tables had different themes, colors and arrangements that highlighted today’s trends and actually ahead of the times. When Connie does a wedding there is no stress, she takes this away all the while making your wedding so very special, perfect and uniquely YOU. Absolutely Fabulous Weddings -- at the helm and forefront in wedding design.
Burson & Company Catering brought their signature selections that pleased the guests. The sliders, the pasta (that was a meal in itself), several different punches and the delicious Lemon Blossoms that are like non other, were offered to the crowd. For those with a sweet-hot desire was the pineapple, jalepeno mixture that would be a good addition to just about anything. A very efficient catering group that does not leave anything undone or anyone left hungry. Burson and Company takes all the work out the wedding rehearsal or reception. Families are not tired when the wedding is over as this Company specializes in service and delicious food.
Music was played throughout the afternoon by The Wedding DJ –Dalton Gauthier- who has all the sounds from the old to the most current. This Dj is present through the rehearsal ceremony to make sure that the musical selections and procession goes as planned. The Wedding DJ has the sound for guests as they arrive for a wedding which makes for a joyful and uplifting beginning. The wireless microphone for the ceremony, wedding music, reception music and then the dance and Karaoke. Dalton also helps to announce the different stages of the evening as first dance, toasts or any other requests.
Cochino Lodge-Suzanne Steed- was the backdrop for the Wedding Wonderland. This is more than a wedding venue. It is a great place to begin your life together ; to closely gather family and friends for joyful memories and glorious moments; bring both families together for photographs and visiting. A sacred place located in the oldest county in Texas, in the middle of a National Forest, off the busy highway, a view of wide open skies and constellations along with the sounds of the night. Secluded and private….where once upon a time if was an old farm where the land was plowed and grew food, children were born here, mostly hard work was the entertainment and you walked or rode a horse if you went anywhere. Times have changed but I am one of the descendants who has stayed with the land and know its charm.
