Windham and Collins united at Cochino Lodge

Mr. and Mrs. Collins
At Cochino Lodge

Rain fell all around but the lodge and  hill overlooking the lake was a safe haven from the rain that had threatened all week long. Sheila Parker and workers  consisting of family and friends worked  Friday and Saturday to create the wedding mood that the Bride had envisioned.  Ms. Parker also directed the wedding as well as orchestrating the decor and making art cookies and cupcakes  and did a beautiful job of it all. The Cake was a "Naked Cake" and was splendid.  It was made by  family as well and I need her name So please send it.
As far as the ambiance, you felt as if you were 'back in time' with vintage decor  punctuated  by photographs of the couple on each table. So Lovely and unforgettable.  Family and friends were a pleasure to meet and celebrate with. Some lived as close as Apple Springs and Groveton and others of  Nacogdoches, Lufkin and beyond.  The Wedding Dj, Dalton Gauthier, provide music from beginning until the end. Great Sounds and great memories of dancing and celebrating. The Bridal portraits were taken by a family member April Ritter and they were fantastic. The Main Lobby of Cochino featured these gorgeous photographs.  I am looking forward to the Wedding Photographs by Jennifer Dunkin. As for now, enjoy the candid photographs of  Cochino Lodge.
