Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Loggins
Vows At
Cochino Lodge
Listening to the rhythm of the falling rain, the Metts and Loggins along with a huge extended family and a lot of friends gathered together to CELEBRATE the union of Samuel and Darian. What a beautiful wedding. The brides sentiments were put into motion by Connie Wells, Absolutely Fabuluous Weddings, who worked to make everything perfect and unique to the bride and groom's fancy. The father of the bride constructed the 'double door' archway for the bride and groom to use for the wedding ceremony inside the lodge. Draped with lace with the view through the wraparound windows, of the deep woods and misting rain and lake was nothing less than romantic and so memorable. Donnie Puckett, a frequent officient at Cochino, was at once humorous, entertaining and spiritual with his joining of this couple in holy matrimony. Always consistent and a pleasure to have at Cochino. Not only the decor but the food as well for the reception was outstanding. The Wells duo, of Connie and Joe, had a delicious spread that was abundant and so well designed and placed for the guests. What a variety of shrimp pies, meat balls, vegetables, cheese and fruit and a huge 2-types of potato bar and all the trimmings....an even more. Photographer was Gann of Lufkin who worked from early into late afternoon photographing and finding the best places to use as backdrops. I can't wait to see her 'takes' on the wedding party photographs. The wedding cakes were by Half Baked and were so pretty. The music was by the Wedding DJ-Dalton Gauthier who had it playing before, during and after the ceremony as well as the day before for rehearsal practi
Speaking of the day before, the rehearsal dinner was prepared and served by a group headed up by Randy George. I would say this 'covy' of cookers had more fun than anyone with as much talking and laughing that went on. But, the food was presented on time with with much 'sabor' and 'gusto'.
