They are now Mr. and Mrs. Jones. What a beautiful wedding. The families of each were so friendly. It was very Elegant in colors of Black and White. Diamonds and pearls punctuated the decor throughout the Reception area. Music began mid afternoon to set the mood for the many guests who arrived early. Shawn Kaemmerling had his usual great music chosen by the bride and groom, during the ceremony and thereafter until the closing hour. There was a 'whole lot of dancing going on' and a lot of fun. Both families were a delight. Many stayed Friday and Saturday nights, making for a great destination wedding. Fishing began early morning till late afternoon. Bettie Lawson, catered the rehearsal dinner as well as the reception dinner. She and her husband work together and have the best food in Eastern Texas. Bettie was at Cochino only 2 weeks ago, a sensation then as well. Dusty Rauschenburg, all the way from Iowa, decorated the main lobby for the rehearsal dinner. The tables were so unusual and inventive. He used the decor of Cochino in most unexpected ways. He is such a talented artist in more than one area. John Deere tractors are his specialty as well. What a combination. He was also the Photographer for the wedding and I am anxious to see his beautiful photographs. Beautiful Flowers were presented by Carylon's Florist 936-634-1730 of Huntington and the Florist's daughter helped both days , along with Katrina Harris and Janet Howell who were involved in most of the decor. Those helping were lifetime friends of the bride. The cabins of Cochino were filled Friday and Saturday nights. The guests listened to the croaking of frogs and other night creatures and looked at the sky overhead after the wedding festivities were over. Some even fished in the night air. The Dj, Shawn Kaemmerling fished until the wedding began and had enough fish, to have them griledl on the pit by a Cochino Lodge friend Dalton Gautier. A destination wedding at Cochino. Great Time. Great memories and a GREAT future ahead of Mr. and Mrs. Jones.
