Ivan and Natalie Tapia were Spiritually United in Holy Matrimony
November 23, 2013 at Cochino Lodge.
A Cold and Rainy November Day but the couple and their families and friends created a warmth and glow for the couple's celebration. The wedding was held on the Mid-Deck with the many guests to witness the ceremony. The lighting of the Unity Candle, the Rope Ceremony and Bible presentation were all a part of the wedding. Many Fireman from Lufkin and Crockett were present to witness their friend's ceremony. Beautiful décor, handmade by the bride and family, decorated the Lodge. Tall glass cylinders with chevron patterns decorated the tables along with Firefighter items. Photographs and shadow boxes with memorabilia and depicting Firefighters were placed near the Bride and Groom's table. The beautiful Cakes by Grandough Baking Company, echoed the groom's profession and the brides preferences. The groom used a firefighter's ax to cut the cake. The Bride's Cake had beautiful flowers handmade of fragile edible sugar . The Cakes were delicious. Food was prepared by the families and plated to each guest as they gathered in the Mid-Deck. Fruit was also offered in the main Lobby for guests before the main meal began. Music played throughout the event as well as vocals that were just great. Brandy Brent, was the professional photographer who began with the couple with their pre-wedding announcement pictures months ago, then with the bridals, and rounding it out with the wedding photographs did a wonderful and artistic, unforgettable collection of wedding memories. The cold weather did not stop her nor did the rain, she had the couple and their attendants posing until she finished documenting this very special occasion.
A very beautiful bride and handsome groom who had a very special spirit about them.
It was a pleasure having them at Cochino.
