Cochino Lodge

A great celebration took place at Cochino Lodge. The Wedding of Tasha , Justin and little girl makes three.  The decor and food was totally art. L. Land (need spelling of name)  Artist and Designer filled the Lodge inside and out with fresh flowers. LouAnn made every arrangement and artfully placed them on each table. These were beautiful.  Margaret Broughton, the master chef and food artist created a delicious meal, beautiful table ware spread and soft chocolate toppers, and the unforgettable Bride and Groom's cakes.  Land and Broughton both worked together to create a unique look, feel, aura and magic for Tasha and Justin.  This was a labor of much love. The officiant was Louann's Husband,  (need name)   ________Land who has declared himself as "Mom" of the bride and will likely with great care, oversee the young couple.

Each area of  Cochino had slightly a different feel yet all blended to create that memorable occasion.  The Main Lobby had the wonderful aroma of fresh flowers.  These were placed in global containers of different sizes along with eiffel tower vases on the end family table.   The Cake table with the  new- dimension bride's cake( you must see this)  and the groom's  'tailgate' ice chest with 'refreshments'  were presented in mid lobby.  The Mid Deck had  fresh flowers that were  displayed in very old huge mason jars, mid sized, and those on pedistals sitting stop vintage off white  crocheted doilies.  The Dance Deck sported fresh flowers on top of  bistro tables held in vintage Carafes.   The open air chapel welcomed guests for a light bit of refreshments when the ceremony ended and the bride and groom and families had photographs taken.  This was truly a work of art that Margaret Broughton created.  Strawberries served on a tiered silver display,  grapes along with chips dips and spring water refreshed the crowd until the main course was served.  Broughton had two serving lines with sausage, brisket, twice baked potatoes, green beans and rolls. She received rave reviews for her delicious meal where no one went away hungry.
Music was very festive with the sounds brought by DJ (need name) ___________ who has what it takes selection and sound wise. He has been to Cochino many times and is always pleasing.  Guests chimed in singing their favorite songs. Dancing and a lot of fun closed out the night.  Happy trails to all three of  you.
