Hammons 50th Wedding Anniversary Celebrated At Cochino Lodge

Hammons
50th Wedding Anniversary
December 11, 2010
Cochino Lodge

The children of the J.C. Hammons Family had their Parents Golden Wedding Anniversary at Cochino Lodge December 11, 2010. December has been very good for Celebrations. The weather was wonderfully warm. The Children played outdoors and later the parents took them fishing on the lake at Cochino. The Children played barefoot on on a giant castle located on the sunny hillside. Others walked the trails and had a forester identify the different varieties of trees, grasses and plants. This was a pleasure. Many animals were spotted throughout the day. A bobcat near the lake's edge, deer tracks, squirrels and many birds were seen throughout the day. The Bobcat was the most interesting. The gathering of family and friends enjoyed the company, conversation, food and the recognition of 50 years as man and wife, Mr. & Mrs. JC Hammons.

The focal point of the Lobby was the beautiful cake made by daughter
Teresa Wells
The Cake featured the colors of red and white with gold lettering 50th on top.

A cupcake tree had delicious cupcakes with a cherry on top
The cupcakes were made by Gail Hammons

The flowers were a mix of roses and holly and pine from the East Texas Forest.
So simple, so elegant.
Each vase had 50th wedding anniversary engraved on it.

The JC Hammons had a thank you note for each at the table.

To have a 50th wedding anniversary is a great accomplishment.
Married for 50 years is an endangered occasion that should be celebrated with great pride and  happiness for the children who knew their parents as a couple for  all  these years.
