Mr. and Mrs. Allen
A Beautiful Cochino Lodge Wedding

This was a wedding that was planned for many months. I got to know the families well and have to say I missed seeing them when they did not visit for a while. We even had a fried chicken picnic one Sunday afternoon. I cannot forget that chicken. Delicious.   In the future, will have to drop by and visit for a "spell" and check on me. So delightful

The Wedding was planned by the bride and her mom Violet.  It was a beautiful 'sunflower' day. There were a lot of beautiful facets to the wedding. Each thought out and orchestrated perfectly. Most impressive was the balloon ceremony remembering each family member that had passed away but not forgotten. Such a dramatic send on of balloons in remembrance. The sky was gorgeous with white billowing clouds against blue....and such a welcoming .  Wonderful memory made.

Guests gathered on the West Lawn to witness the ceremony. Fall Leaves decorated the double door arch as well as the entry arch. The rain stayed away and the day was beautiful.
The memory table of those who had passed beforehand was so touching. A beautiful engraved lighted vase and the photographs of family was there for a beautiful memory.

The minister who performed the ceremony was a family friend who did a beautiful presentation of vows.
There was an abundance of food prepared by family and friends. The Sweets Bar was
AMAZING.  What a variety. All kinds of colorful candies and Cup Cakes as well.  The bride and groom's cakes were beautiful as well. And just the right size.   .
Visiting and Dancing was enjoyed as well as making new acquaintances.  I enjoyed those that I had not seen for years and live so nearby.  Everyone was a pleasure to have. Such a friendly and fun group of guests.
