Ashley Martin and Cody Duke
Married
Cochino Lodge

This wedding was about romance,  nature, the feel of an old world eons ago.The Bride was beyond beautiful and the Groom Handsome as well. A great combination who is now known as
Mr. and Mrs. Duke.
Dawn Gauthier was the wedding decorator and with the desires and wishes of the bride in mind and working closely with the bride a beautiful setting was created.  The Bride chose the River Birch Vases, made by artist Dorthella Branch, as her centerpieces.  Unusual floral arrangements of the brides chosen fresh flowers along with Cochino Wild Lake Whimsy Vine made an unforgettable statement.  Deer horns, moss, Baby's Breath and glowing candles completed the look  It was truly a refreshing romantic vision.  Many photographs by Photographer Phyllis Wars, Crossfire Photography, were placed throughout the lodge. These were lovely and very unusual. Loved them all.  Phyllis and her assistant took photographs throughout the afternoon and into the  night of the bride and groom and the events.

Tammy Cousins was the hair designer for the wedding . She worked non stop all day. The ladies and young little women had beautiful hair at the end of the day. Tammy is sought after by many of the Brides at Cochino and is always ready to make it happen. Love to see her here.

There were so many guests who attended the ceremony on the North Deck. With rain threatening, this was the perfect choice. Huge Cypress log bolts standing almost 5 feet held the floral arrangements. Smaller ones flanked the bottom. Old doors and a vintage archway completed the look for the bride and groom to recite their vows.l   The Officiant was a family friend and had a great presentation and ceremony for the new couple. The food was delicious  and prepared by Bodacious.  The Cakes were beautiful and tasty as well.  Music was by Leslie Crowson who is so vivacious and energetic. Always in a great mood along with her Husband, Mr. Crowson,  who helped her throughout the night.
The guests and families were all so personable, considerate and fun. I met old acquaintances and new as well. Most came from Groveton, Pennington, AppleSprings and Lufkin.   These are good neighbors of Cochino and we all had a great time in our community.
