Gangstad and Womack united at Cochino Lodge

Mr. and Mrs. Womack

The feel of the wedding was Nature at its best. Old trees, moss, woodsy growth, rock, water, sky, wind and a little rain, things made of wood and all things that had been a part of nature for eons.  The forest surrounds Cochino and gave all it had to offer. The Bride had flowers in her hair and flowers were everywhere.  A memory was made.
Many friends and family gathered to welcome new family members and to witness the ceremony of marriage.  The family pet was in the wedding as well to help them celebrate. The food was so abundant and prepared by the Groom's Grandfather and Uncles. What a feast of BBQ pork, beef, chicken, beans, fried catfish and potatoes, onion rings, banana pudding and I know I am leaving something out. It was delicious.  Dancing and dining music was music presented by Dalton Gauthier and was  enjoyed by everyone. He kept the celebration moving along in the right direction.
The Photographer was Sarina Musick, who is at Cochino very frequently, and did a unique and wonderful job of capturing the wedding and events and guests. Always welcome at Cochino. She puts the wedding guests and bride and groom at ease with her manner. Gets some great shots.

Dawn Gauthier was the wedding designer and coordinator. Dawn created the setting for the ceremony of celebration. Flower arrangements were by Dawn as well. The Earth and  its forest and deep woods was Dawn's inspiration to fulfill the Bride's wishes.  Vintage Lanterns provided by Dawn and Bunny Gangstad were arranged on tables, Rock and leather napkin holders as well as River Birch vases made by Dorthella Branch  adorned tables as well.  Dawn had ground moss as well as tree moss entwined in the decor.  Manzanite trees  were throughout the lodge with moss and flowers highlighting them.  The Tree House deck had moss on the limbs that gave the old Southern  feel and  was gathered at the Dominy's Farm in Pennington.  The cake table was a vintage wooden table adorned with moss , wooden plateaus and succulents.  It was situated on the Tree House Deck. Dawn Gauthier decorated the archway and constructed the backdrop for the wedding of log bolts, candles and moss. She also directed the wedding ceremony.

The Gangstad and Womack wedding was such fun and I met so many people that I enjoyed. It went smoothly even though the rains threatened.  This was a great gathering of families that I found family ties with through our Stubblefield Church next door to Cochino. I hope to see you all again soon.
