A Wedding to Remember in the Rain Forest of Eastern Houston County, Texas
Mr. and Mrs. McInnerney
A huge, huge gathering at Cochino Lodge for the wedding of Courtney and Conor. Guest came from very far and then near. The wedding day was overcast, sunny, windy, still, quiet, hot then cool. Then wedding time came near and it started to drizzle. There was no way the ceremony could be held indoors with so much work done to prepare it for a forest wedding under the tall timbering pines. However, the rains did not stop and got worse, so it was decided to have the wedding indoors afterall. Preparations were made and it was time to begin but the Bride decided that she wanted it in the forest , so it was the deep forest. AND off we all went. The guests were such great sports. Everyone made it to the forest and enjoyed a beautiful wedding. Father of the Bride, Gary, made the entry of doors which was very large and impressive. He also made the huge stump cupcake holders, 2 of them. As well as a stump, with lid and slot , for cards. Very talented man who worked with family to prepare the forest for a great and memorable wedding with the help of Courtney and other family members.
It was great getting to know the Williams family as well as the many family and friends who gathered to witness the marriage of Courtney and Conor.
Beautiful and very unique wedding.
