Spivey and Alvis

Brianna and Dustin

Wedding at Cochino Lodge

The weather was wonderful. It felt like the beginning of Fall. Many gathered to witness the vows of Brianna and Dustin on the hilltop  facing the forest of Cochino.   Century old trees formed the natural backdrop for the wedding. Nature is beautiful this time of year.  The grass is still green and the leaves will remain on the trees for a couple of months more.  The Pine trees will remain green  with a holiday feel  throughout the year. Beautiful couple who are now a family that will begin to travel through life together.  The officiant was the Uncle of the Bride who had a good presentation for the new couple.  The dining tables were decorated beautifully as well as throughout the Lodge by Connie Wells..  The food was presented by Tyson Wells and was the usual bountiful and delicious  meal.  Dawn Gauthier designed the Bride's and Groom's  Cake table. The usual elegance for the Bride's Cake table and the Groom's table featured his 'racing' interests. Huge tires, trophies and flags as well as other racing gear was a hit with the guys. Music was by The Wedding DJ, Dalton Gauthier.  Dancing and singing went on non stop after the dinner meal.  The Bride and her Dad sang a duet. Then the Dad did many solos. He was great. Good voice and willingness to participate really personalized the wedding making for  many memories  lasting a lifetime.  The Harbuck photographers were at their usual 'fantastic'.  Hoping they share  later on. Always do those memorable shots. Catha Scott made the delicious Bride's and Groom's cakes. Such perfection.. Glad to see Catha always.
Thank you for choosing  to have your wedding here. I so enjoyed everyone , meeting new family and friends and getting to know the new couple even better- As well as seeing former couples who married here.  That was nice.
