Cochino Lodge Weddings: Haygood and Armstrong wed at Cochino Lodge

Mr. and Mrs. Armstrong

Cochino Lodge was alive with activity for two days. The Wedding of Dana and Robert was underway beginning on Friday. Great Family and friends arrived and the festivities began. Cochino Lodge sits just above the Armstrong Creek that meanders throughout the bottom land surrounding Cochino. Ages old Armstrong Creek, perhaps named for some of Robert Armstrong's early Texas relatives and settlers was witness to the marriage vows of this dedicated couple. It could not have been more appropriate. Dana had thoughtfully created her decor over the last year along with the help of Robert. Adorable ideas that worked well with all chosen pieces. Topping the tables off were huge globes of goldfish darting across the water and entertaining the guests, especially the young children who took some home with them. Robert make his cake plateau of a beautiful tree slice and the wooden table numbers. He and Dana made unique signs that lined the walkway and promised a great life together. A lot of fishing went on, visiting, picture taking and the making of memories to last a lifetime. The food was delicious and lovingly prepared by family and friends. It is great to have professional caterers in the family.
