They Became Mr. and Mrs. at Cochino Lodge

December 6, 2014, the Wedding of Payton and Timothy took place at Cochino Lodge.  Many friends and family gathered together to witness the most precious ceremony. The weather permitted an outdoor wedding that Payton had hoped for.  The Couple said their vows beneath the very Old Oak Tree that stood on the East Lawn of Cochino.  This old oak has witnessed many events throughout the many decades of its life.  Decades ago, the Old Oak was a resting place from plowing the fields. Children played under the cool shade with snuff  bottles being the 'buggies' or 'cars' that plowed through the cool dirt and entertained them.  It was a pleasant place to sit waiting to go back to the fields.  The old oak tree was a part of the family and continues to be so in 2014.  However, times have changed and those sitting under the old oak tree are now  dressed in their finest attire. There is music, there is food, there is a crowd and laughter and the anticipation of a great event about to take place. The crowd is not waiting to go back to the fields.  A great event is about to take place , and that is the celebration of a  wonderful marriage.  December 6,  2014, Timothy and Payton were married under the old oak tree.
