March 30, 2013
Alysse and Bradley married at Cochino Lodge
witnessed by
Family and Friends from Shelbyville and Lufkin who
celebrated in the oldest county in Texas in
beautiful  Davy Crockett National Forest

A large gathering made its way to Cochino Lodge for the Hagler and Baldridge wedding. Festivities began on Friday and extended until Saturday night. The rehersal dinner was prepared by Tammy and Wanda and Family. Delicious chicken spagetti and all the trimmings were featured at the Back Gallery of Cochino Lodge. The early afternoon wedding was beautiful. The family decided to have 2 ceremony locations in the event of rain. The East lawn was set up with a decorated arbor , barrels with huge fern, and the vintage church benches. The North Deck was set up with flat benches and many white lights and glowing chandeliers. The rain came and went in the early morning so the bride and groom made their vows on the East lawn under the beautiful blue skies. The North Deck benches were quickly whisked away and the festivities began. A little fishing on the lake was enjoyed Friday and Saturday, however the fish were not biting  good enough to keep the fishermen's attention.  Decor had the feel of country vintage. Log cookies and Lanterns adorned the Mid-Deck Tables. Large bows and vases were on the main lobby tables with touches of blue throughout, the large family table was decorated with photographs of many family members as well as memory photographs and the treasure chest for cards. The bride and groom's cakes were so pretty and  tasty as well. Mother and grandmother of the bride, Tammy and Wanda, made sure that the wedding went smoothly.  All of the family members participated the the setup of the wedding making sure that nothing was left undone. This was a delightful family that I hope returns to Cochino Lodge for other weddings as well as a visit.
Beautiful Bride and Handsome Groom who had a calmness about them. This will make for a wonderful life together.  Great Wedding.

That was very nice wedding. My daughter is getting married next month at this place and I hope to have that similar blessing you have captured here. Congratulations!
