Lufkin, Livingston, Orange, HudsonTexas and Oklahoma came to Cochino Lodge for the Daigle and Hamilton Wedding

March 16, 2013
Eirka Daigle and Doug Hamilton Wed
A Beautiful Couple united who will begin their lives together and will live happily ever after.

A great beginning with Friends and family who  gathered at Cochino Lodge on a beautiful Spring Day. The pear trees were in full bloom, the grass was green, temperature perfect, a slight wind and the fish were 'a jumpin' as high the sky.

The Decor was made and arranged by Erika. Beautiful arrangements that included candles and hurricanes and tall glasses adorned the tables. Very unusual were the lights made of glass rocks and carefully molded concrete that resembled torches on the tabletops.  Crochet items were made by the Groom's mom which gave the vintage feel to the decor along with the bridal broquets made of broochs, crochet and and flowers.   Denece White made sure that the wedding planning moved along and was on schedule.  Denece was there throughout all phases as well as being a great part of the wedding ceremony as well.   Music was throughout the celebration from arrival to departure of the guests. Debbie Richardson had the great sound that old and young could enjoy.  Great dance music and well and easy listening.  Food was catered by Bodacious of Lufkin. Delicious and there food to take home as well.   Photography was done by Betty Lawson, who has been to Cochino documentating many wedding.

The families of the Bride and Groom spent the night at Cochino.  The cabins were full and the lake was lined with fishermen. Fishing began on Friday and continued as long as there was light.  Saturday it began at day break and continued all day, with a break for the wedding ceremony. There were a lont of fish caught, cleaned, packed and frozen, then taken home to enjoy later.  This was a mini destination wedding with something for everyone  from early until late.  Great Family of friends and relatives.
