Cochino Lodge Wedding of Whitney Kanke and Jeremy Munn

December 23, 2012
Whitney and Jeremy became
Mr. and Mrs. Munn

December is not necessarily snow and ice and this is what Whitney decided to have faith in.
The Wedding day was beautiful.  All the doors of the lodge were open and the temperature was wonderful. It was an outdoor wedding with only a hint of the usual winter weather with crystal snowflakes adorning the trees and windows.  The colors were saphire blue and silver. It was a wedding that sparkled.  The guests came from Lufkin, San Antonio, Austin and Dallas. Whitney and Jeremy chose Sunday afternoon for the wedding with food and dancing the rest of the afternoon into the evening.  The families were so delightful. I am hoping to meet them again soon.

Suzanne, I just found the photos you made of my granddaughter Whitney's wedding. You are quite a photographer too! It was a wonderful wedding. God has blessed our families with so many good friends and you, Suzanne, are certainly included among those friends. You were the "hostess" who was the calm to our nerves. Whitney had a vision of what she wanted and your magnificent lodge was just her inspiration. Looking at your photos made me even prouder of what she created. The lodge and scenery is so peaceful. We felt like this wedding was so private and very personable.Your welcoming heart helped to create that feeling, Suzanne. My Mother and I fondly remember meeting with you in late Novemeber. We sat in the rockers on the porch and just shared our thoughts and enjoyed our time with you. Jeremy and Whitney have the rest of their lives together. We all believe that being married at Cochino Lodge under God's glorious sky was a perfect beginning for them. We look forward to meeting you again. Fondly, Cindy
