Cochino Lodge
The Wedding was Early Texas Elegant. Saddles, rope, hay, and weathered wood, boots and hats were the order of the day. A well planned and executed wedding that was of the Bride and Groom's desires. Colors of Brown and Turquoise were placed throughout the Lodge and Decks. The guest "book" was very original. Guests signed wooden hearts and placed them in a leather antique box for the couple to open and see who came to the wedding. The table decor was varied and interesting. Black lacquered Boots, Mason jars, and lanterns adorned the tables in various arrangements. The unity sand ceremony vessels were place atop an old wooden barrel that was so vintage. The sweet buffet was wonderful. Antique clear glass cookie jars held an assortment of cookies, each labeled and ready for the guests to choose. Wagon wheel containers held turquoise and brown sweets as well. The Containers were very attractively displayed on rustic log circles. A Delicious and beautiful cake was the art work of Kate's Cakes. She is truly an artist who translates the Bride's wishes into a delicious and lovely piece of art work. Kate's Cakes are enjoyed frequently at Cochino Lodge..
The officiant was Steve Meadows who presented an inspiring message and inspiration for a wonderful life as husband and wife together. Pastor Meadows has been to Cochino Lodge many times as an officiant.
