Cotton and Malone Wedding at Cochino Lodge

December 18, 2011
A Sunday Wedding
2:00 PM
At Cochino Lodge

Amanda Cotton and Nick Malone were wed in Mid-December
The location was over the river and through the woods.  Early morning fog hovered over the landscape and water.  It was just beautiful.  The trees were magnificant copper, golden,
deep purple, red-orage,  and bronze against a background of tall green pine trees.
The feel was elegant and polished eastern Texas glistening silver along with all the jewel colors of autumn.
The feel was crisp and cool yet the sun was shining and there was no moisture the day of the wedding.
It was a perfect day.  The Lodge was in full decor of the bride's chosen colors that mirrored the outdoors.
It was cozy inside with the wonderful aroma of candles wafting throughout with soft lighting and several tables of delicious beverages and sweets.

 A beautiful and stunning bride

So very Pretty

I love the bridal head piece and her smile.

Waiting at Casa Verde for the Wedding to begin

The groom was adorable and so
handsome and polite...he waited in the Lobby of Cochino Lodge
for the wedding to begin.

The bouquet of flowers and jewels was right in step with
the other decor that sparkled and  was so elegant

Reggie Cotton and his son

Reggie Cotton cut the huge Cypres flower holders that flanked
each side of the seating. These were timbers from the Trinity River Bottom.  So very appropriate with the
rustic arch.   He almost needed a forklift to move them in place.

All of the Bride's Maids so very pretty

A great hug right after the ceremony

Those huge Cypress that Reggie Cotton brought from the Trinity River Bottom Land were hollowed slightly
so that flowers could be anchored on the top. Great Idea. AND THESE WERE LEFT FOR FUTURE
BRIDES TO USE....SO THANK YOU GOES TO THE COTTON FAMILY.
The Bride's Mother, Jane, made the white branched decor from small sweetgum trees, so inventive. It looked so festive.

Arch Flowers

A Cochino Arch that changes looks with each Bride. Very Versitle.

Bench seating with the colorful trees in the background.
This is what it looked like December 18, 2011

Jane Cotton's white branch decor mirrored that of the Cypress flower bases

The magic bottle tree of  Cochino, caught the bad weather before it reached
Cochino. The weather of the wedding day could not have been better. Just perfect.

Afternoon Coffee and Sweets, just after the  2 PM Wedding was a welcome treat.
