Mr. and Mrs. Grounds
Jennifer and Joshua
The Gathering of two great families. With this union these families are growing. What a wonderful wedding with so many family and friends to wish the couple a great life together. It was good to meet and reacquaint with so many of the Harrisons and Grounds. There were at least 3 generations of Harrisons present and at least 4 generations of Grounds. Grady Grounds was heading up the Grounds linage , his usual handsome self and danced the night away as well. Danced more than anyone else. Both families are among some of the oldest in Houston County and Texas. Dating back to the Republic of Texas. The new couple are from
stout and durable forefathers who loved the land and treasured being a part of it. This is a great beginning for the new Mr. and Mrs. Grounds to stand on and to continue the legacy as a team.
You will live happily ever after.
Andrew Williams, family member, performed the wedding ceremony. His wife Kim and he were married at Cochino Lodge 8 years ago. The Grounds family were all here then as well. The memory of those not present were in our thoughts.
Great Decor by Dawn Gauthier who created the ambiance that both the bride and groom wanted
inside and outside of the lodge. Beautiful table arrangements, wedding backdrop, barrel decor, cake tables, fireplace mantle with a beautiful arrangement flanked on each side by old wagon wheel spokes as well as the decor on the Veranda and Pub. Glorious decor.
The Wedding DJ was Dalton Gauthier who began with the ceremony and throughout the afternoon into the night. As Dancing began, requests were made and filled. Grady
Grounds had his requests up front and throughout the night. Great sounds that reflected everyone's desires and Grady's dance steps.
Professional Photographers were the wife and husband duo the Strabans. Also known as Photography by Dena. A great team that gets all the right angles and does not miss a memorable opportunity. They totally cover the event. Glad to have them back at Cochino. I am looking forward to their photographs.
