It threatened rain, but it held off until the wedding was over and into the night. A beautiful couple and families gathered for an East Lawn Wedding in the late afternoon just at dusk.  The decor with vintage with a touch of elegant rustic and a feel of the 1930s .  The rehersal was Friday with a dinner afterwards on the deck of the Chapel. Music was great and provided by Fun FX of Nacogdoches.  The father of the bride conducted the marriage ceremony for his daughter and the groom.  The bridal cake and cupcakes were by Grandough Baking Company of Lufkin and were beautiful and delicious as well, as usual.  Fried Chicken and all that went with it  was catered by Brookshires of Lufkin  and was delicious as well. AND there was a lot of it.  Many guests came from Alto, Texas and some from South Louisiana. They loved the fishing, visiting and the ceremony of two families becoming one.
