Rusk and Grapeland Texas Couple Wed at Cochino Lodge

Trevor Watson and Amy Bachus
Wed at Cochino Lodge
July 9, 2011

The Watson and Bacus Families met on July 9, 2011 to witness the marriage of Amy and Trevor.
This was a melding of families who had their beginnings in Texas with other families who came from Alabama and Mississippi on a Wagon Train to homestead in Texas.  The Iveys, Steeds and Pettys were some of those who came.   Some of the family members found their final resting place in Antioch, Cemetery, several miles as the crow flies, from Cochino.  The minister was one of those, whose family came to Texas many years ago and was very knowlegable of that history.  Delightful.  With the Watson and Bachus union a lot of history can be handed down for  generations to come.

The wedding was at the water's edge.
The flower cluters and grape leaves with real grapes adorned the large trellis which
was just beautiful.

Large Church benches were brought in by family Friend, Chris Dotson.  The massive heavy benches were a must for Amy and Trevor with the help of Chris made it happen.

A pastel cake with the jewel 'W' on top was so pretty and
Delicious.
