Candace Lovett and Jason Nihols from Lufkin & Hunnington Wed At Cochino Lodge

April 23, 2011
Candace and Jason had a beautiful Wedding.
The Beach theme was perfect.
Casual attire, colorful decor and lots of food.
The wind was reminiscent of a beach front gale and had the outdoor curtains of the
chaple wafting in the breeze.  Created a great feel.

Family and friends gathered on Friday for the Rehersal Dinner.
On Saturday morning the family returned and the decor was finished.
Everyone was ready for the festivities to begin
Over 200 guests were present to wish the couple
'a wonderful life'

Candace was a beautiful bride and so happy
She smiled the whole day.

The traditional Arch was more than Traditional.
The Grandfather of the Bride, John Massey, of Center made the arch for his 15 granddaughters to use.
Candace was the second to use it. John makes many different varieites of furniture but the handcrafted willow arch was the center of attention on April 23, 2011. This tradition has been in the Massey family for over 200 years. John's furniture graces the homes of many famous politicians and stars as well as the movie Seabiscuit. His talents have been featured in Country Living magazine as well as many other news articles. He lives in Center Texas where he creates his willow art carrying on the tradition of his mother's folks for many years to come. You can reach him at 936-590-4492, he can make anything.
Cochino Lodge was honored to have one of his pieces in a wedding.

Pin wheels positioned at each chair and  at the country pews, blew in the breeze
Table decor was fresh fruit with a giant pineapple for the center

Flowers in tall vases decorated other tables.

The cake table candles were so colorful.

This was a very good wedding.  The family and guests were so enjoyable and fun.  You felt that you had known them for years.  Easy going families have great lives and are great guests.
