The Fall Wedding Sarah Ashworth and Brandon Burke

The Ashworths and Burkes
Celebrated a Fall Wedding
at Cochino Lodge
November 6, 2010

November is a wonderful time for a wedding. The Air was Crisp and the shadows of early morning and late afternoon were remarkably different from those earlier in the year. The tilting of the earth has such great impact on the beauty of the landscape.  It was truly a beautiful day from morning into  the night.
The families came together and designed a great wedding. The decor of yellow and mesmerizing blue colors filled the lodge. The cookie buffet, designed by Donna Pharris, as well as the rest of the wedding seemed to float in mid air with lights and clear glass containers holding the many varieties of cookies.  The main course buffet was 24 feet long with a variety of food beautifully arranged by Ms. Pharris.  The Grand Deck carried the them of yellow and blue as well and was enjoyed by those who listened to music, danced and enjoyed the food.   The families enjoyed the mini destination wedding to Cochino and the mingling with family members, friends and enjoying the wedding of  Sarah  Ashworth   and  Brandon Burke  who have now begun their journey together as man and wife.

Candles cast a soft glow
creating a wonderful atmosphere of light and wonderful aroma

The lodge was decorated in shades of yellow and blue.  The cakes are the focal
point of the lobby.

Mrs. McAdams of Groveton is not a stranger to Cochino Lodge. She brings her expertise
to each wedding cake she designs.  Ms. McAdams delivers and puts the finishing touches
to the cake after she gets to the Lodge.  This is a great gift that she delivers.
